Following the November 2016 Kaikoura earthquake, Libbet have been engaged by the North Canterbury Transport Infrastructure Recovery Alliance (NCTIR).

Libbet has a team of up to 20 staff based in Kaikoura to enable the rebuilding of the railway line between Picton and Christchurch.

Our input has included providing rail protection and track inspection resources as well as Hi-Rail vehicles for transporting personnel and materials to site.
