Libbet successfully completed a project to fabricate and install new platform shelters at Takanini and Te Mahia Stations.

These two stations with island platforms on the busy North Island Main Trunk Line posed a significant challenge with very limited periods of time for track access and power isolations.

​

The works were completed over two blocks of line when the main structural steelwork was lifted into place with subsequent fit out works such as aluminium fascia install, roofing and glazing undertaken during the day with approved methodologies for working next to the live railway, overhead power and public.
